Returning an item to the seller.
Buyer beware. Very difficult to return an item to the seller. Buy somewhere else. Shop at Amazon instead. Returning an item is a lot easier compared to eBay. I bought a t-shirt from an eBay seller with a U.S.A. address. I had to return the t-shirt to an address in Ecuador. Very difficult to contact the seller regarding my return. Save yourself the aggravation. Buy at Amazon.

I have had to return things without difficulty. If the seller's return shipping address is in another country, the seller has to send you the money for the return shipping. If they don't, all you have to do is go back to your Return Request and ask Ebay to step in to help you. Works like a charm. 😊

OP2 years agoThat's why I said buy at Amazon. I don't have any problems doing returns with Amazon.

Mentor2 years ago@anovales9 Sorry that happened. eBay policy is that you do NOT have to return an item to another country if the seller shipped from the US even it's a remorse return... doesn't fit etc.
If the item is not as described then the seller has to pay return shipping no matter where they are located.
You just have to know how to handle the return request.
You have 30 days from date of delivery to file an item not as described refund request on eBay.

4 business days after filing the return request if the seller has not provided a return shipping label OR sent the funds to your PayPal account to pay return shipping if they are in another country then ask eBay to step in and help:

If you have to purchase a label at the post office with the funds that the seller provided be sure to upload the tracking number into the case. The tracking number is your proof of delivery.
Returns to countries that do not have 1st class delivery confirmation MUST be shipped Priority Mail.
