Returning an item that was the same just different color

Question

I sent the customer the wrong colored knife that was depicted in the picture, I sent the correct one and sent a return label. The customer should get the correct one today. How do I get eBay to fix a hold on my funds? We are basically just doing a swap of knives. The customer does not want the money back.

Did you offer the "replacement" option for returns and did the buyer choose that when they opened their Return Request? If so, when tracking shows the replacement item delivered your hold should be released on schedule. If not, then you need to ask buyer to close the return at his end.
