Returning an item incorrectly.
I recently made a mistake sending back a pair of adidas. I purchased one pair at amazon and another type of adidas shoe through ebay from adidas_official store. Tuesday night I got home and a delivery I received leaked everywhere. In my distraction I attached the wrong label from ebay to my amazon item and sent it back mistakenly. The next morning I tried to retrieve package back from my doorman but too late. I tried to do delivery intercept with Fedex but no luck. Also I emailed ebay store at adidas but they were no help. Even though it had not arrived they said they will keep the item and may not even refund me even though they are getting a more expensive pair of shoes. Can I get ebay to refund me and get my shoes back? So far all they say in automated system is to contact seller. Please advise. Thanks.
