Returning an item I bought as a guest

I bought an item off eBay and I check out as guest. The item didnâ€™t end up working for me, so I want to make a return. Luckily the seller pays for the return, but since I checkout as a guest, Iâ€™m having a hard time initiating the return request. From my understanding, my purchase as a guest gave me a username (which I have) but thatâ€™s not the username my now officially established eBay account is under. Can anyone offer a solution? Need to make the return by the end of the month. Thank you in advanced!
