Returning an item back to China from the US - How does free shipping work?
Hello there,
I recently purchased a few items of clothing from China and they sent me the wrong sizes. The seller asked if I wanted a partial refund and just keep the items because the shipping is high to send the items back. We agreed on a certain amount for the partial refund. The seller is now saying I have to cancel the return request first before they can send me a partial refund... I feel like I'm being tricked because can't they just send me the partial refund and then I'll cancel my return request?
I'm thinking it might be better if I ship the items back to China and get a full refund because if the seller is trying to trick me in canceling my return protection that I have and then the seller might not send me a refund at all. Ebay is saying free shipping on the return back to China but there's no label to print anywhere... I looked everywhere. Please help if anyone one gets this and has a solution. Thank you

Mentor11 months agoYou are correct....the seller is trying to trick you into closing the return request. They can issue the partial refund without having you close the request. If you closed it, you would never see the refund.
You can't receive a return shipping label since the seller is located in China. They will have to send you the funds to cover the shipping costs through Paypal. Since they probably won't do that, you can ask Ebay to step in to help you. Go back to your Return Request details and click on the link to Ask Ebay to step in, when it shows up in the case.
