Returning an item
I tried to cancel an item within a few hours of purchasing when I noticed the seller had a no return policy. A no return policy for a wig? How do I know how it will fit or look?
The seller just said, “too late.â€
I thought the eBay guarantee policy meant I could return if I didn’t choose to keep it. Does it?
Or am I out $230 plus?

·3 years agoThe MBG covers your wig if it's not received, if you received the wrong item or it's broken or defective. The seller's refund policy determines if you can return it if you don't like it after you get it, or you don't like how it fits.
Going forward I suggest if you want to return items for any reason that you buy from sellers who accepts returns.

The eBay Money Back Guarantee is for items not as described, not for items that don't fit or don't look good.
If you want the possibility to return, you have to look for sellers that accept returns.

OP3 years agoI just don’t see how you could sell something that needs to tried on, and not accept returns. I was naïve. And it cost me. So let this be an alert to buyers. Check the fine print!

But a returned item doesn't qualify for the category 'new' any longer. That is an issue too.
