Returning an Item
The item I purchased was to be a kit. When it arrived it was an ice maker and two cables. What typically comes in the W11729596 kit is the above mentioned items AND several components as listed here: https: www.abt.com/Whirlpool-Refrigerator-Ice-Maker-Kit-W11729596/p/210223.html? I've included of the list of items that should have been in this kit. Please see below.
On May 7th the seller replied with the following: I am sorry for this! That was an unopened box. I will refund the total amount or can ship you a new one with everything in it. I would open it and make sure. No extra charge to you. Just let me know what direction you would like to go. Again I apologize for this inconvenience.
On May 8th my response was: I would like a full refund. I've already ordered a complete kit. I understand accidents happen. Thanks.
Then the seller sent: Sending full refund. Please just trash the one I sent. Sorry the the inconvenience to you!
Now it's been more than 5 days and no refund. I would like to send the unit back but there are no instructions or labels, etc. I believe the seller has to do something on their end. Is this seller trying to scam me, because they won't let me initiate sending the unit back and therefore are not "triggered" by eBay to send a refund?
When will I get a refund? How do I send the item back, when the seller says they don't want it? Please advise as this is very annoying. I've tried calling ebay with no success. Ebay called me and wouldn't or couldn't pass me off to an agent. Thank you.

Here's what to do...
If you received an item that is not as described, you have up to 30 days to open a return using the option next to the transaction in your Purchase History. The seller will have 3 business days to provide a prepaid return shipping label or else refund. If he does neither, go back to the case on day 4 and use the option to ask eBay to step in. They will force the refund.
