returning an ebook
I ordered a book which turned out to be an ebook that i did not want. The seller agreed to a refund but I can't get past the return item ...as there is nothing to return

Mentor2 years ago@cmcorsa If the seller is agreeing to refund you they can do so from the drop down menu next to the sold item.
If they don't willingly refund you then this is what you need to do>
Select item not received as the refund request reason instead of a return. You will win the case since there is no tracking to prove delivery.
Look for the last estimated delivery date in your purchase history. You can file a refund request when the item is at least a day late.

4 business days after you file the refund request ask eBay to step in and help if the seller has not refunded you.

If it is more than 30 days past the last estimated delivery date then you can file a refund request on PayPal up to 180 days from the date of purchase. OR if you didn't use PayPal at checkout contact your bank or credit card to report that you didn't receive the item.
