Returning a damaged item when you have protection plan.

Question

I purchased a CD player that arrived damaged. We didn't know it was damaged because we were unable to set it up until after the 30-day return period. It was a Christmas present. However, I purchased a 1-year protection plan, but can't find how to contact E-bay to use the warranty and return the item.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I can't figure out how to contact E-bay for help.
