Returning a damaged gift

Question

This was on purchased as a gift, an 100cc motorized bike kit. Upon finalizing installation I noticed the nut that holds magnet was just free turning. Come to understand that the nut is stripped. This area of motor serves a vital role in operations. Im just trying to replace motor and not seeking a refund. Need help due to I cannot speak to as person at eBay.

@thophil4192 < Come to understand that the nut is stripped > If the nut is a separate item â€“ I mean not permanently attached to the chassis or anything â€“ could you get one to replace it? I was looking at fasteners at The Home Depot a few days ago, and they have cabinets with drawers full of different sizes and standards.

@thophil4192 Ebay cannot force the seller to send you a replacement. Either file the Return Request or keep the item.
