I returned a jacket to a seller in another continent and was not refunded due to item not returned within the time window. Of course it wasn't as it probably took 6 -8 or more weeks to get there!

That isn't the important part, it is shipping it within the return deadline time and getting a scan to prove it was sent.

Did you ship the package before the deadline, and have the clerk scan the label?
