Returned item per sellers messages and now I can't get a refund

Question

Received an incompatible part , contacted seller and said to return. I returned it next day to the address on shipping label out of pocket. Contacted the seller that it had been delivered to the oo box and gave tracking number. Then the seller stopped responding. Asked ebay to step in , and the seller sends me a return shipping code. Still will not respond to me and the automated ebay thing is very unhelpful on resolving this

@makyerb Did you file a Return Request on Ebay before you shipped the item back to the seller?
