Returned item on last possible date, now told case closed as ebay wasn't notified
The item I bought was in good condition but didn't fit my car so I communicated with the seller and got an official shipping label to return it. I had some delays but I did get the label and packing slip printed, item packed and shipped on the last possible deadline date which I was told was July 28 '25. I have the receipt from UPS right here. Now I have a message from eBay that "We've closed this return request because there was no indication that the item has been shipped back to the seller." The history for this item reads "Return Window Closed on Jul 10" even though I was told it would be July 28. The return details do say "August 1 - Item was delivered". I've contacted the seller to ask if they got it all right, waiting to hear from them now. Is there anything else I should know or do?

Mentor1 year ago@si_zhao Your only option now is to contact your bank or credit card for a chargeback, show them the tracking proof of delivery. Returns do have time limits.
