Returned item for exchange
I received defective winter gloves and contacted seller for an exchange. Seller has given a return label without me initiating a refund or exchange. What to do if it’s been a week I haven’t received my exchange yet? Thanks.

Have you shipped the defective item back?
Generally you want to open a return and get a refund for a defective item, not a replacement. If the seller has more, make a new purchase. That way, if the replacement is defective, you can open a return for them.
Where is the seller located? Much of the US had bad weather this past week, so lots of shipments are delayed.

OP8 months agoI have shipped the return after they have supplied the return label via email. I’ve never actually hit the return button for exchange. Seller is located in Florida. Seller has said that that would ship replacement as soon as they saw I had shipped return back. Item has not been shipped yet and they’ve already received my return.

Packages leaving FL in the past week could easily be delayed by the snow storm.
Have you tried messaging the seller? I would send him a friendly note reminding him that you are waiting for the replacement - does he have a tracking # for you? You can also mention that you see he has received your return.
If he doesn’t respond in a reasonable amount of time, you can ask your card issuer to open a dispute for a return with no refund.
