Returned item and seller wonâ€™t reship

Question

purchased a high dollar item on 10/1. Item was supposed to be delivered 10/9, with direct sig, but was RTS. Seller claims itâ€™s due to my address being invalid - I have proven itâ€™s in the FedEx database, along with USPS (new house). Seller says he canâ€™t print a new shipping label, get a refund to the original, and re-ship until 10/17, when eBay says they will review.

Anybody know if this is true?

Actually, regardless of the reason if the package is being Returned to Sender then eBay views this as an issue with the delivery address and you will lose your Money Back Guarantee. The Seller is under no obligation to reship the item to you at their cost and should refund the item price to you once they get the item back but not the original shipping you paid since that money has been spent on the round trip shipping the package made. This also assumes that the Seller gets the item back.

What kind of a high dollar item is it if I may ask? Did you check the Sellers feedback and were there any left for them that might indicate they have had this situation before?

It is also possible that the Seller changed enough on the address that the package was returned to them because it could not be delivered. This is a type of shipping label scam that some Sellers engage it sorry to say.

They won't get a refund for the original label You will need to pay for a new label
