Return shipping vs shipping insurance claim

Question

I knew my item was working one day before I shipped it. I tested it it worked. Out of the blue he wants to return it but, I told them to take it to his post office and claim insurance. If he needs my insurance number claim I'll gladly give it to him and he could take the money from the insurance because I already got paid.

At a local issue between his post office and mine all post office insurance stuff goes to a federal insurance place so it doesn't matter whether he ships it there or I ship it there.

The buyer cannot file the USPS insurance claim.

The buyer should file a Return Request through Ebay. You would need to respond with a prepaid return shipping label, then refund the buyer in full when you receive the returned item.
