Return Shipping Details

I requested a return for a purchase I made and after several back and forth emails the seller (who offers 30 day returns) finally accepted the return and sent me a shipping label. However, nowhere in the return details do I see where the tracking number has been entered by the seller or the date I shipped it back. The item was delivered 4 days after mailing it, but eBay does not reflect any of this. How do I know I am still protected if eBay does not have these details?

@jpb65 If the seller issued the label outside of the return flow then you might have a problem. Do you still have the tracking number?

You can add it to the return request>

Go to the return request in Purchase History.
Select the shipping carrier from the dropdown list. If you select Other, enter the carrier name.
Enter the tracking number.
Select Mark as sent.
