Return Shipping- Buyer didn't ship by label EXP date-

Question

I approved a return and return label was sent to buyer. Buyer had a family emergency and missed getting package to USPS. prior to the expiration date of May 6, 2025 listed on the label.

Haven't been able to reach Ebay customer service to get a new label. (Very Frustrating.)

Should buyer use expired label? Take to PO and ask for a replacement or what????

Anyone have any experience with this?

@beyourbest If this was a not as described return then you are not charged for the shipping label unless it's scanned. In this case what I would do is go to pirateship.com or other site and buy a return shipping label. Send it as a JPG in eBay messages. Pirateship will refund you if the label is not used after 30 days.

HOWEVER since the case has timed out you are not required to do this.

IF this was a buyers remorse return ( buyer responsible for return shipping) then I recommend that they buy a new shipping label and return the item to the address you provided. They can buy one on Pirateship for the same price as eBay labels.
