return shipping
I received a refund from eBay for an item I purchased because it did not match the listing description. I understand that the seller is responsible for the return shipping cost but refuses to correspond with me. I then attempted to present this problem to eBay's AI assistant but the responses were unhelpful and the conversation began going in circles. What do I do with the refunded item?

In the refund details from eBay, it should indicate if you are required to return the item. If eBay had to step in and force the refund, they often tell the Buyer they can keep the item. If the Seller is not responding to your request for a return label, it would seem they don't want the item back. You are not required to pay to return it.
