Return Shipment
Just won the dispute for a 10-lb. defective item. Seller would like it shipped back, which I am happy to do; but I do not necessarily trust the shipper to pay me back the $20-odd return shipment might cost. What to do?

Has eBay refunded your payment? If yes, then ask the seller to purchase a return shipping label and send it to you in a message. If he is in another country, figure out what the shipping will cost and tell the seller he must send you the funds to pay the shipping before you send it. If you have a PayPal account, he can send it there.
If your payment has not been refunded yet, and your return is still open, the seller must provide the shipping label through the return. If he is in another country, the same as above applies, but then you must make sure that you get the tracking # entered into the return by customer service.

OP2 years agoThank you for taking the time to respond.
What also impressed me was the photo. Quite evocative.
