Return scams?
I listed my first item, a purse and someone bought it. The day the received it they returned it. The funds were put on hold by EBay and now the purse was shipped back to me, so I have it. Now I owe them a refund but I was never actually paid because the funds were immediately put on hold by eBay. This seems strange that now my next step is to refund them when I never actually received any money from them into my acct. can someone explain this is is normal. It feels weird

Mentor5 months agoYes, this is normal. New and infrequent sellers will have holds placed on their payouts, so you have to refund from your funds. You will be reimbursed when ebay sends your payout.

I entered a credit card to pay for fees and reimbursements, rather than my checking account.
