Return Requirements
I recently sold a lantern that snows Styrofoam balls. The Buyer claims there are balls sticking to the inside acrylic walls. I suggested that this was most likely due to static electricity, and suggested they simply tap the sides as I did when I purchased the item. They claim that didn't work. They want a discount or to return. The Buyer has zero feedback. This item is currently selling on QVC for $76, and they purchased it for $32. The shipping was $9.17. The pictures in the listing show no balls sticking to the walls. It appears I am required to accept a return (even though my listing states I do not accept returns). If they return, am I required to refund that return shipping cost, and am I also required to refund original shipping cost? I am trying to figure out the best way to resolve without losing more money. I suspect they are not being totally honest about there really being an issue. Are there any protections for me as a Seller? Thanks for your help and guidance.
