Return requested when listing states No Returns
I recently sold a new, with tags, pair of pants that were listed using manufacturer's pictures and description from their website, which was indicated in my listing. The listing also stated No Returns. The buyer messaged me to inquire about the "feel" of the material. The buyer purchased before I responded, but then requested a return stating that the fabric was not as I described, and provided pictures of a "problematic" area of the pants that I am unable to see a problem with in the photos. The guidance from eBay basically stated to accept the return in order to proceed, so I accepted it and then had to purchase a shipping label to provide to the buyer! The buyer has not yet shipped the item back to me. I feel as if this seller is taking advantage of the system, knowing the right words to use to be able to force a return, refund, and free return shipping. I am fairly new to selling, and am wondering if/when I will have a chance to state my side of the story. Is this worth being reported as "Misuse of Returns"?

·2 years agoWhen (and if) you get the return back, you have the option to review the item and see if the buyer's claim is accurate. If they have any justification, it's best to refund and pay for the return shipping. If the buyer's claims are false, you will have the chance to report the buyer's abuse of Item Not As Described returns.
