Return requested
I sold an item and shipped out like I always do. I got a message that a return was requested stating that the wrong item was sent. The reason they thought it was wrong is because I recycle packaging and the item was boxed in what was previously a small toolbox so there was a picture of a toolbox on the outside of the container and the buyer didn't open the box at all. I messaged the buyer and told them to go ahead and open the item and see that I, in fact, did send the correct item. I received a text from the buyer that the correct item WAS sent. Can I get ebay to cancel the return request if the purchase doesn't update their request?

The buyer can close the case by going to their eBay app and selecting close.
If the buyer does nothing, the case will close since there will be no return. (Ignore the statements about refunding)
