Return request of item never received
I made a purchase that was never shipped. The seller has since left eBay and is no longer a registered user. In an impulsive moment of confusion I opened a return request, hoping the seller would finally respond to my numerous requests for communication. After thinking, I closed the return because an item not received cannot be returned. Well, now eBay says I don't get my refund and I should pursue a remedy through my bank. Huh?
So if my bank denied helping me or I just didn't pursue it through them, I will never be issued a refund? Where does my payment go?
Is this even legal?
