Return request for a refund was canceled
I thought by uploading pictures to show proof of how the seller is fraudulently selling a different product from what was advertised, that I could get my money back. But not only did the seller cancel my return request without reason. A corrupt ebay employee also permanently closed the case, so I couldn't even ask ebay support to step in and help. I also notice whenever I post feedback for a bad ebay seller, my post quickly gets removed. The only one who has access to do such things is someone working at ebay.
Now it's gone from my feedback being removed to my return requests being permanently cancelled without explanation.

When a buyer opens a dispute and it's found in favor of the seller, eBay removes negative feedback the buyer left for the seller.

I conclude that you opened the wrong kind of return request. You should have opened a Not As Described return request; the seller is unable to cancel those. Go to https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-items-not-received-refunds-buyers/return-item-refund?id=4041 and try to open a Not As Described, or it may be called Doesn't Match Description.
If the system doesn't let you open a NAD return request, call the customer service on the back of the credit card that paid for the sale and tell them you need to do a chargeback. Use that word.
When you say "chargeback" probably the agent will say she is transferring your call to the appropriate department. Quick, before she gets away, ask her for the direct number to that department. Then, if your call gets dropped, and you shouldn't be surprised if it does, you can call that department directly and avoid having to grapple with that infuriating computer-operated decision tree you have to fight through before you reach a human.

OP5 months agoI appreciate your advice, Ill try your instructions now. However, the other issue I mentioned regarding how someone keeps removing my feedback for bad sellers, it happened again with my feedback for this seller, I can't find it. I'm assuming it's done by someone working for ebay, because I'm the only one using my computer. How would I resolve this type of issue?

OP5 months agoA quick update, the option to do a Not As Described, or Doesn't Match Description, and the Refund or Return button, is completely removed from the Purchase History page. But I'll try the next option contacting my bank.
