Return request closed
My seller agreed to my return request. I did not send the item back right away. Now I learned that the request is closed. I didn't know that could happen. EBay says I cannot appeal the closing or the request the return. Any ideas for me?

OP3 years agoThe hand controler for my hospital bed stopped working. I ordered and received the identical item. It did not work either. Then I found out the old control was not the problem, because it works on the other side of the bed. So, the problem is someplace else in the electrical system. I do not need the new controller. The seller accepted my return request on February 24. Unfortunately I did not send it back right away. The seller closed the request on March 20. I have looked back and there was no time limit mentioned for the return. I would've paid for the return.

Mentor3 years agoSince there was nothing wrong with the controller and you didn't return it within the time limit allotted, ebay automatically closes the return.
Best you can do now is ask the seller if he still would refund, if you paid for the return. If so and you trust him, make the return. Otherwise, just resell it on ebay.
