Return request
I have a return request in ,the seller came up with a deal that they would pay for my return shipping . I would have to cancel my return request before he sends me a return label. Should I do it? If I cancel it I can't reopen it if something funny happens.

Mentor5 months agoNOOOOOO! Never close a request unless and until the transaction is over and you're satisfied.
If you close it, you won't be able to reopen and 99% of the time when sellers tell you to close the request in order to get a refund, you never hear from them again.
ETA: This is a wild guess but is the seller who is making the request to close the case a Chinese seller? They're notorious for doing it.

Don't do it!
No honest seller will ask you t give up your buyer protection by closing a case before he has performed. He can pay for the return label through the return request (unless he's an international seller, in which case he needs to send you the money for the label so you can purchase it).
Once the case is open, if the buyer doesn't provide the label, go back to the case on day four and use the option to ask eBay to step in. They will force the refund and won't require a return.
My reply is all assuming the buyer either accepts remorse returns or the item is not as described (or counterfeit or damaged).

OP5 months agoIt's parts for rims , rim barrel. It has the right dimensions but the description was different from the title ,according to them. I was thinking it was going to be chrome but it wasn't . The description said chrome. He said it was pretty much a generic description. Now the description has changed.

Check the description in your Purchase History rather than the live listing (if it's still live).
On the live listing, you should see a link to revision history. If you want to share the item # here, you can do that.

The seller updated the description of that listing on 5/6. Did you look at the listing from your Purchase History?
Nevertheless, go forward with the case for an item that is not as described. If you can still add to the comments section in the case, you can indicate that the seller updated the listing to change the material on 5/6.
