Hello a customer is looking to return something stating it is missing parts. The item description says it is missing power cords. The buyer agrees and says they didn’t read the description but wants me to pay for shipping for their return. How do I not do this? I described it and took photos but they did not read.

I wouldn't try to fight the buyer on this and would pay for the return shipping.
The title should have indicated that the power cord was missing and the photo should have also shown the item with the power cord clearly missing. By showing the item in the box in the primary photo, most potential buyers would expect this to be complete. Buyers have to scroll through so much advertising to get to the description, they often don't even see it. (There may also have been a better item condition to choose, though I don't know what your options were.)
You can make these corrections to improve your listing after you get the item back and relist it.
