return request
Buyer wants a return on :ordered by mistake:. My policy is no returns. Will ebay allow an additional return request if I don't refund?

You may as well learn now that this statement you made, " ... My policy is no returns. ... " is absolutely meaningless when compared to several reasons eBay allows on their Money Back Guarantee (
eBay Money Back Guarantee policy) that would force you to pay for a return shipping label and then refund in full upon receipt. Your return policy is limited and many Sellers who use it and think they are protected against returns find out the hard way they are not.
Granted, it happens to be the Default return policy on eBay Listing tools but it really sends the WRONG message to both Sellers and Buyers. Sellers may actually be losing sales because Buyers pass them buy for a Seller who Accepts returns in one form or another.
I recommend that you accept the return, get the item back and if in the same condition you originally sold it for sell it again to help cut any loss you may have incurred the first time around. Fortunately, my return rate is low and most items can be resold if returned ... on two of my returns last year I Relisted the items for $ 10 more and they sold for a higher price the second time around (they were both Auction style listings).
No returns does NOT mean No refunds. If you decline a return for the wrong reason eBay can be asked to step in and refund the Buyer plus let them keep the item. Become familiar with eBay's Seller protections: Seller protections | eBay
Lastly, Buyers who are not refunded on eBay (for whatever reason) will often file a dispute with their funding source and if they win the dispute the Seller is charged $ 20.00 for losing the dispute which eBay was trying to protect them on.

Mentor7 months agoNo, but the buyer can go to their payment source and ask for a charge back. If they do this then eBay will charge you a fee to handle the charge back and buyers win almost all charge backs since the buyers payment source decides the outcome and not eBay.
