Return Request
Setting: You have an item described correctly, and you have a no return policy.
Buyer receives item (a pair of jeans) and request a return stating they do not fit. Even puts in remarks they are listed as size 28, wears size 28, but they just do not fit. Wants a refund. eBay's refund guarantee email to me "suggests" I oblige as item not as described. They are exactly as described, and I would lose approximately $13.00 if I were to oblige. I have attempted to contact eBay and cannot get past the automated AI.
$13.00 is not necessarily a lot of money, but why should I have to take a lose.
What do you all think/suggest?

Mentor2 years agoIf ebay shows the buyer specifically selected "does not fit" as the reason on the return form, then the buyer pays for the return shipping. So you can decline it, although best to accept the return. Once returned you optionally can just return the cost of the item and not any separate original shipping charge.
