Return Question
Hey all,
Relatively new seller here. Have sold a couple dozen items over the last few months. Just got my first return request. The item is a Ps4 Rock Band 4 that sold for over $100.
I personally tested the game and played several songs without any issue. I have detailed photos of the disc and video showing the back of the disc, me placing it in the case, and then immediately boxing it for shipping.
The buyer (who only has 2 total feedback), has had the item for 31 days which is outside my 30 day return. They opened a return on day 31 saying the disc is damaged with a single photo showing a TV screen with a "can't read disc" message.
As far as I can tell, neither mine nor eBay's policies require me to accept the return after 30 days. Is this correct? Is there a compelling reason I should still accept it? I am fairly concerned that whatever disc I get back will be damaged, whether I the buyer did it themselves or swapped it out with another disc.
