Return Question
I mostly list parts for ATVs/UTVs and motorcycles. If we sell a new part to a customer who puts it on their unit and then takes the part back off and tries to return the part (within 30 days), am I obligated through eBay to accept the return? Some parts could be resold as a used part, while other parts are not resellable once they have been put on a unit.

Whether or not you have to pay any of the return shipping costs depends on the REASON the buyer chooses when they file the return request.
The 50% reduction in eBay labels applies only when a buyer changes their mind after purchasing an item and wants to return it.
If a buyer wishes to return an item because it doesn’t fit their vehicle, we’ll cover the cost of the return shipping under eBay Guaranteed Fit. If the buyer reports that the item arrived damaged or doesn’t match the listing description, the seller is responsible for the full cost of the return label.
