Return process details
The seller wants me to choose the option "Wrong Item" or "Changed my mind" when the return process is initiated. Actually it should be "Not as described". Do I risk anything agreeing to the seller request?
Also, the seller wants to send me the return label by email, argumenting that he is experiencing some technical errors with his pdf file when this is done through ebay. Is it ok to agree to that?

The seller is trying to get out of paying for return shipping. Open the case for an item that is not as described if that is the real reason. When the seller approves the return, eBay will send you a link to a label - not the seller (unless the seller is in another country).
Here's what to do...
If you received an item that is not as described, you have up to 30 days to open a return using the option next to the transaction in your Purchase History. The seller will have 3 business days to provide a prepaid return shipping label or else refund (again, the pays for the label, but eBay makes it available to you). If he does neither, go back to the case on day 4 and use the option to ask eBay to step in. eBay will force the refund.
