Return problems with a seller

Question

How do I actually get eBay to step in on a return, the seller shipped a damaged item and keeps trying to just pay me part of the refund and doesnâ€™t wanna pay return shipping, since he is messaging back with these offers I donâ€™t see a way to get eBay involved

If you opened a Return Request for an ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED seller will pay for the return, if he wants it back, and/or refund. If no resolution by the fourth day , go back to the request and ask ebay to step in. Do not close or let the case expire without doing this, if not resolved.
