Return or Refund
Sold condiment set. One of the pieces was broken. Buyer offered to return the item. We offered a full refund and Buyer to keep item, as one piece was broken in the mail. He then wanted a refund that was $13 dollars more than than he paid so he could purchase another set stating that's what poor wrapping cost us. Now buyer wants to go back to what we originally offered. Not sure if we should request a return of the item, giving him a refund or go back to our original offer, which is what he now wants.
Thanks for your time in replying.

Mentor2 years agoYou are not obligated to refund more than what the buyer paid. ebay won't allow you to do that. If the buyer filed a case, your option is to accept the return and send a prepaid shipping label if you want the item back, or a full refund without requiring return of the item.
