Return on a broken item sold
I had a costumer buy a glass candy dish. It was received by the costumer today. They immediately opened a return refund and sent a picture of a broken candy dish. I asked for a picture of the box as well, but no response yet. When I shipped this off, the lady at the post office wrapped the item, and put extra padding throughout the box. No way this was damaged during shipping, it damaged by the customer or they had a broken candy dish and they are trying to pull one over on me. Who should I contact, because this feels like a scam of some sort to me.

·3 years agoYou have two options, refund and let them keep it or accept the return and pay return shipping.
If it was insured and you want to file a claim with USPS, ask the buyer for a few pictures of the item and package, then refund the buyer.
Have the buyer hang on to the item and package so it can be inspected.
