Return of stolen item
Bought a copy machine but when used it caused moisture inside then stopped working with an error code to replace drum roller. Contacted seller who said go to HP warranty but don’t tell them you bought it on eBay which was strange. When I tried to register warranty it wouldn’t go through and said warranty expired but it was supposed to be new with warranty. I contacted seller who said to send it back. I did a return request through eBay on dec 13 but never heard back from seller after sending numerous messages. Never got any answer from eBay on return either. I then googled seller on my own and found out seller a pawn shop in Philly was raided on dec 14 for selling stolen goods and eBay account was shut down . I contacted eBay and told them what was happening but no more response from them either. I also tried to go through eBay security but can’t get through that route also. Has anyone had a similar problem when seller account was shut down?

·2 years agoYou have only 21 days after opening a return case to go back to the case and ask eBay for help, or to escalate the case. Too late for eBay to help.
How did you pay? Try filng a chargeback with your credit card.
