Return of item after the return date has passed
I contacted the seller after the return date had passed and they agreed to take the item back and told me to initiate a “return request “ from the order page but I don’t see that option.
Any ideas?

OP10 months agoThank you for your reply, since it’s within the 90 day period it sounds like I can still return it for a refund but ebay can’t guarantee it.
I am having trouble with actually initiating the return, can you tell me how to do that?

Mentor10 months agoSince you are past the Money Back Guaranty deadline you should just go back to your payment source and ask for a charge back. There are time limits for doing this that depend on the funding source. Buyers usually win charge backs as it is their funding source that makes the final decision.

Mentor10 months ago@hurents0 The eBay Money Back Guarantee is 30 days from the date of delivery. While you may be able to file a return request after that date eBay will not be able to make the seller refund you for the item so it can be risky.
A seller also can NOT refund you after 90 days even if they want to from eBay.
