Return of funds

Question

The item was never delivered and the vendor after I requested a refund falsely sent Ebay bogus facts. I paid I waited for arrival after 2 weeks of trying to contact the Courier to find out that the vendor did not fill out the proper customs forms so they sent it back to the vendor. Now he has my money and item. I contacted the vendor several times with out any reply.

This was not a few hundred dollars it was almost 6000.00 Canadian.

There must be away to hold the vendor responsible for a refund.

Can someone help with a legal way to get Ebay to hold the vendor responsible.

Go to your Purchase History and locate the purchased item. What is the last estimated delivery date? You have up to 30 days past that date in order to file an Item Not Received case, to get your money back. Once you file, the seller has 3 days to provide a tracking number that shows Delivered or issue a full refund. If the seller does neither, on day 4 you return to the case and click Ask ebay to step in, to force a refund.

If it is past the 30 day limit, you will need to log into Paypal and file an Item Not Received case there, if that is how you paid, as they allow up to 180 days from date of purchase to file, to get your money back.

If you paid with a credit card, file a charge back with your credit card issuer.
