Return not scanned into system
I had a return and I sent my fiance to the store to send it out. Instead of going to USPS he went to UPS and dropped it off. UPS accepts the packages so he didn't think it was an issue. I mailed the item back on the 3rd of February. When I checked the status of the return I noticed that it said the label was created but it's not yet in system. I called USPS but I think they picked up the package and didn't scan it. I messaged the seller telling them that they should've received the item by now and I would like my refund but they didn't answer me. This seller sold me a ring that was fake. The description said 10k ring but when I got the ring it had a stamp of 14k in it. But I wear a lot of gold so I knew it was a bit too shiny. When I took it to a jeweler they tested the ring and told me it was gold plated and that the stones weren't diamonds, like what the ad said. At this point I feel like something shady is going on but I have no idea what to do.

You will just need to wait and see if USPS eventually receives the item and ships it to the seller.
If it had a USPS shipping label, UPS should not have accepted it.
Hopefully it works out for you, but it could be a costly mistake.

OP3 years agoWhen I called UPS they told me that they accept mail for the USPS and that someone from the USPS picks up the packages there. I didn't think it was going to be such an issue.
