Return label not received through email
I am returning an item. The seller has refunded my purchase. The return label was sent to my spam email and I CANNOT retrieve the shipping label. The spam email will not allow me to do so. I CANNOT get a hold of any human at customer service

OP3 weeks agoThe seller has not responded to any of my suggestions so I am done being the only one that is concerned. It does not pay to be considerate and nice but I do appreciate all of your help. It is rare to have people who give their time to help others. Thank you for attempting to help me help someone, who does not deserve to be helped

OP3 weeks agoHi thanks for the info on the return label. This is a horrible system. The seller gets screwed and I do not want this to happen. Does ebay have any human contact anymore?? I CANNOT find a working phone number to contact customer service.

Mentor3 weeks ago@veni*vidi*emi An agent cannot change the system. Sellers are told if they want the item back to wait until they receive it before they issue a refund.
Sellers sometimes decide it is better for their bottom line to refund without a return.
The seller won't be charged for the return label since it was not used.
Message the seller and let them know that they need to send you a return label in eBay messages as a jpg image. They can buy the label from pirateship for the same price as eBay.

OP3 weeks agoThe system sucks. This seller was new to ebay and he did not understand the return protocols. I have no idea how to return the item without a label and I don't think that ebay allows me to leave an email for the guy to send me a PDF label.

Mentor3 weeks ago@veni*vidi*emi The seller can't send a PDF but they CAN go to pirateship site and buy a label that they save as a JPG image. They might have to Google how to change a pdf to a JPG but it's not hard. You just need to message the seller and explain the steps. Let them know that they won't be charged for the eBay label since it wasn't used.

OP3 weeks agoThis is so convoluted that it is not worth the trouble. I do not know anything about converting a PDF to a JPG and could never explain this to the seller. I guess the poor stuff just got stiffed by a process that was no doubt created by techs, who are on the spectrum. One thing is for sure, technology has created way more Rube Goldberg problems than necessary; the amount of steps necessary to do anything is inefficient and beyond the pale.

Mentor3 weeks ago · Edited@veni*vidi*emi You don'thave to explain anything, just copy and paste my reply. The other option is the seller could send you the $ by an electronic method such as zelle, Venmo, etc. Then you buy the shipping label. They have your phone number in order details.

Mentor3 weeks agoOnce the refund has been made you can no longer print or use the return label that was sent to you. eBay no longer requires you to return the item back to the seller. If the seller really wants the item back they will need to send you a return label outside of eBay.
