Return label for my customer
My customer is in Puerto Rico and I'm in Kentucky. He has decided he wants to return an item and I am willing to accept it back. I have let him know that I would accept it back and I want to send him a return label. The problem is that eBay has a problem with return labels apparently. I can't seem to find where to go to get one that I can send to my customer. And eBay will no longer answer the phone to talk to me about a return label. I would like to know how to get a return label printed out or ready to go to my customer so he can return the item to me. This deep dark secret that eBay is keeping is causing anxiety. It is 4:00 in the afternoon here and I have been working on this since 1:00 in the morning and it is very frustrating that that phone only says I will send you a link. Or you should look that up on the internet well for the last 14 hours that's what I have been doing and still have not been able to print out a label I just want to print a label so this man can send back the product. EBay make this easier.

Mentor3 years agoYou can not get a return label for your buyer from eBay without a return request from the buyer.
Ask the buyer to open a return request. eBay will ask you to accept the return, and will offer to provide the label and charge you for it.
if you want to try working outside of the return process, open a free account at pirateship.com. Create the label, print it to a pdf instead of paper. Send the buyer the pdf in an eBay message.

OP3 years agoyes the buyer did do a return request. WHY DO YOU THINK I WANTED THE LABEL?

Mentor3 years agoMany time a buyer contacts the seller directly, and the seller tries to send a label without a request, that’s why I thought you were asking how to generate a label.
What reason did the buyer select for the return? That determines who pays for the label.
If not as described was selected, is the buyer in the same country as you? If yes, what happens when you accept the return? I obviously can’t see your return, so I don’t know these details.
If the return is asking you to provide a label, use the instructions I provided for pirateship.com, but upload the label to the return instead of sending it in a message.
If you would prefer to let customer service help you, use the link on the left side of this page “have us call you†- https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4002&st=10
If you don't see 'have us call you' right under the chat link, click chat. Then at the bottom of the chat topics, click more, then click contact an agent.
