Return items
I ordered an item which was 4 days late but before it arrived I requested a return for refund on the item. However, after finally receiving the item I cancelled the request due to time constraints of ordering another. When I opened the item I noticed two broken brackets and scratches on the screen, nevertheless this item could’ve been salvaged if near one of the broken brackets a leak didn’t exist. And since i initially closed the return request after receiving the item eBay won’t allow me to reopen a return request- I assume eBay didn’t take in to account multiple issues , being late and damaged, could or would occur when ordering products.

Based on the eBay 30-day Money Back Guarantee, a Buyer can open a refund request if an item is past the estimated delivery date. That would be an Item Not Received case. Once the item arrives and it's not as shown in the listing, the Buyer can close the Item Not Received case and then open an Item Not as Described case.
All this needs to be done in a timely manner. What eBay doesn't allow for is the Buyer opening two of the same returns.
