Return: Item NOT like photo, when I uploaded photos that support my return, quality of my pxrs poor
Dreadful, dreadful experience. Uploading photos difficult. Changed from iphone, to mac laptop, to ipad. After a few days of frustrated effort, I finally uploaded two pictures that ON MY END were clear and visibly supported my contention that the item was not at all like it was photographed. After the upload and I pressed send, on my computer screen, they looked strangely crude. I was a bit dismayed and I wanted to be sure I whether I should cancel return form and then redo the whole thing. What if the pictures (as uploaded thru the return page system) would not prove my case? Tried calling a human ebay teammate to ask whether the photographs looked dicey or not from their end. Can't really tell. I know sending photos to seller in messages will not serve as proof in favor of a return. Don't want to cancel the return process. But I was hoping to talk to a teammate to see what I should do. Don't want to cancel the return process. So I tried very hard to get thru to a human teammate at Ebay, but could not break thru vicious circle of "please read articles" or "talk to the chat bot" which never helps at all. So what can I do? I instinctively feel that if the return goes through the decision process with these photos and it is rejected that I won't get a second chance. How can I get to a human at ebay.

Mentor2 years ago@clbart1 I personally would not worry about the photo's. Just continue with your return request. As long as it's a not as described return that's all you need to do. If the seller has Free Returns on the listings or is a Top Rate Seller with Buyer Pays returns then they can reduce the refund amount by up to 50%. HOWEVER all you have to do is appeal to eBay and eBay will refund you the rest of the money.
Here's how to contact eBay customer service:
eBay agents are working from home so you have to request a call back or live chat.
1. CLICK THIS LINK:
https://www.ebay.com/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid
2. Request a call back or live chat
( If you receive the automated chat assistant type AGENT in the small box on the lower right of the linked page then you will see the options to contact a live agent, you may have to answer the chat bots questions before it allows you to connect to an agent, this is so you are connected to the right department)
If you are located outside of US or Canada then you will need to use the Chat option or Social Media
3. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media.
