Return Item Badly Damaged
I sold an item and after it was delivered the buyer reached out to inform me that the item was damaged. I accepted the return request expecting that the item was damaged in shipping.
When I received the item it became clear that it became damaged due to misuse, rather than any impact it suffered during shipping.
What is my recourse here? I am left with a relatively expensive ($500-600) unusable product. Do I have to foot the bill or is the buyer responsible?
