return item as guest

Question

i purchased an item about a year ago as a guest and im attempting to return it since it was defective. it's not listed on past purchased items list, how do i go about starting the return process?
the seller hasn't been helpful in this process

@andyani-6627 While I can offer advice on Guest account returns it is unfortunately too late to return an item to eBay. The eBay Money Back Guarantee is only 30 days from the date of delivery.

An eBay agent can not extend the 30 day limit.

You can check with your payment method to see what protections you have but they have time limits too.
