I purchased a refrigerator water filter that worked for 2 weeks (supposed to replace every 6 months)... so I initiated a return. the seller NEVER responded and eBay closed the return after 60 days or something. now I have a defective water filter and I left a good review during the 2 weeks while it was working. I would like a refund or even to leave an updated review. eBay has been NO help at all since I can only get a robot to speak with

How were you able to TELL that the filter worked for only 2 weeks? [I've been using those darn things for many years and would never have been able to tell whether it was 'working'.]
If you opened a return request ... then you needed to ask eBay to step in (from your open request) on the 4th business day. Return requests 'time out' after about 21 days if eBay isn't brought into the claim.

OP2 years agobecause after 2 weeks, out of nowhere, when trying to dispense water- there was a clicking sound and water stopped coming out of the nozzle. ive had the fridge for years and have replaced the filter many times, so I know what im doing. as soon as I took the filter out, the water ran smoothly like it should. I put it back in, clicks sounds and no water... so I had to buy another new one from amazon, works totally fine.

You can try opening a claim with either PayPal or your credit card company. You may be required to pay the return shipping, however. Good luck!
