Return from December

Question

I have a buyer that has been in contact after purchasing a space heater in December and wants to return it now! It was listed as new in box but I opened the box to take the pictures and they are using this as a path for return. Is there a timeframe for return request, itâ€™s been 5 months!!

The other poster is correct, eBayâ€™s return window is closed, and you can safely decline any return requestsâ€¦ BUTâ€¦ the buyer may still be within his funding sourceâ€™s dispute window.

Most credit cards allow payment disputes up to six monthsâ€¦ so, be on the lookout for that.

Ebay has a 30-day Money Back Guarantee. This Buyer had up to 30 days after delivery to contact you about a return. You could let them know that as much as you would like to help them, eBay's return window has passed.
