Return from buyer
Does eBay always accuse the seller of not responding an initial return request?
This was the first time I had ANY knowledge of a request.
What follows is how they sent me the one & only message of notification.
"We'd previously contacted you about a return request"...
Prove it!

OP2 years agoI appreciate the reply. I also inquired with eBay & they had no answer as to why I got an email saying I hadn't responded other than a time difference. (?...)

Mentor2 years agoI don't get very many returns, but when I have, I saw the notification on ebay. I have set my preferences to NOT receive messages to my email client, as I am on ebay on a daily basis and see the NOTIFICATION bell for all communication. Have you looked in your SPAM folder for this missing message from ebay? When a buyer files a Returns Request, ebay gives you 3 days to respond. If no response, the buyer can click Ask ebay to step in, and ebay can then refund the buyer from your funds, and not require return of the item.

OP2 years agoI thank you for responding to my concerns.....
I received NOTHING from eBay prior to what I mentioned before. I wish they would prove they sent me notification 3 days before, but that will never happen. I too am on eBay daily for many hours each day & I keep track of emails from both personal & eBay throughout the day
I just hate being dinged needlessly especially because of all the problems I have had on my account since starting 16 years ago. I also have two different store names! How does that happen since I never changed it?!
